NiteOcean is a Digital Flight Deck for pilot briefing, aviation weather awareness, NOTAM awareness, aircraft context and flight logging. It is provided as a preparation and review aid.
Aviation Safety
NiteOcean is not a substitute for official sources, approved charts, procedures, dispatch services, operational control, instruction, training or pilot judgement. Pilots remain responsible for all flight planning and operational decisions.
Data Availability
Aviation weather, NOTAM, airfield, map, route and aircraft-related information may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable or interpreted differently by official sources. Always verify information using the official sources applicable to your flight.
Ask the Captain
Ask the Captain is an optional AI-assisted NiteOcean feature that responds to questions you submit and may use limited recent conversation context and relevant trusted aviation or logbook context made available for your request. Responses may be incomplete or inaccurate. They are not official aviation information, operational clearance, instruction or a substitute for approved sources, pilot judgement or your responsibility for flight decisions.
You can choose whether Ask the Captain conversation history is saved to your account and can use the available history and account-deletion controls. Ask the Captain access is subject to the daily allowance for your current NiteOcean plan. Only successfully completed responses count towards that daily allowance; separate security and abuse controls may temporarily restrict excessive or automated requests.
Plans And Availability
Published plans describe current access and usage allowances, including Ask the Captain daily question allowances where offered. Allowances reset at the time stated in the product, are resolved against the authenticated account and do not guarantee uninterrupted provider availability. Feature availability, pricing display and subscription billing presentation may vary by platform, storefront and country. We may make proportionate changes to features or allowances for security, legal, provider-capacity or service-sustainability reasons, with notice where required.
